Voice of Paso adds new information features 

Voice of Paso Robles VOP 2018

–Voice of Paso (VOP),the local digital broadcast station for Paso Robles California, has added a variety of new informational features to its program schedule.

According to station owner, Steve Martin, the new features include daily newscasts and information/entertainment features. Newscasts featuring international, national and local news, as well as business and sports headlines, air Monday through Friday at the top of the hour, 6 a.m. – 10 a.m. Stand-alone features produced by local hosts include The Art of Life with Jill Thayer PhD, Market Memo with Economic Vitality Corporation CEO Michael Manchak, and Reality Radio, a local interview show hosted by Martin.

“We started two years ago with one music format and local sportscasts,” said Martin. “Today we have three music formats and the sports network. Content is local, which appeals to residents, but also available globally over the Internet.”

Martin said listeners text from many other states to comment on programming, especially high school sports. VOP features live broadcast of Paso Robles High School teams including football, baseball, softball, basketball and volleyball.

VOP features three music streams including country-western, oldies and cool jazz. Listeners can tune in at www.voiceofpaso.com or use smartphone apps such as Live365 and MyTuner.
