Voice Of Paso to broadcast Pioneer Day Parade
–Paso Robles’ local Internet radio station, the Voice of Paso (VOP), will broadcast the annual Pioneer Day Parade on Saturday, Oct. 14. According to station owner, Steve Martin, he has received permission from the Pioneer Day Committee to broadcast the event from the judges’ platform at 11th and Spring Street. The parade begins at 10 a.m.
“We continue our quest to provide truly unique local programming to the people of Paso Robles and the North County,” said Martin. “I deeply appreciate the Pioneer Day Committee’s support for this effort.”

Most recently it applied for, and received, the rights to broadcast Paso Robles High School Bearcat football and girls’ volleyball games as well as Templeton High School Eagle girls’ volleyball. The VOP Sports Broadcast Team consists of James Wiemann, Bill Stansbury, Jerry Dallons, John Doss and other helpers. Wiemann and his team will be the broadcasters for the Pioneer Day Parade.
