Paso Robles Housing Authority Board accepting applications for commissioners

– The Paso Robles Housing Authority is inviting applications for individuals interested in serving as a board commissioner. The board oversees the Paso Robles Housing Authority (PRHA), a public entity established in 1942 by the City of Paso Robles, operating under California Housing Authority laws and regulated by the California Health and Safety Code.

Purpose: The PRHA is governed by a seven-member Board of Commissioners, including two tenant commissioners, with one required to be a tenant over 62 years old. Board members bring diverse backgrounds and experience in development, community service, education, banking, and business.

Meetings: Regular meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 5 p.m. The venue for these meetings is 901 30th Street, in Paso Robles.

Term: Individuals appointed to the board will serve four-year terms, with appointments set to expire on Feb. 28.
