Volunteers wanted to serve on Paso Robles Housing Authority Board of Commissioners

–The City of Paso Robles is now accepting applications for appointments to fill two vacancies on the Paso Robles Housing Authority Board of Commissioners.

The Housing Authority is a separate agency from the City of Paso Robles, and advises Public Housing Management and determines policy, procedures and direction of the Housing Authority. The Board of Commissioners meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at 901 30th Street, Paso Robles, CA.

Applications may be obtained at City Hall (1000 Spring Street) or at the Housing Authority (901 30th Street). Applications may also be downloaded from the city’s website at: prcity.com/government/advisorybodies/index.asp.

Per §34270.1 of the Health & Safety Code, all commissioners must be residents of the City of Paso Robles. Failure to maintain residency will cause the office to be vacant. Of the seven commissioners on the Board, two must be residents of the Authority and one must be at least 62 years of age.

Deadline for submitting applications is
Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018, at 5 p.m.

Applications may be brought to the City Clerk’s Office or mailed, but they must be received by the deadline.
