VOP to re-broadcast vaping forum
The VOP live-streamed video/audio of the forum live on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from the Performing Arts Theater on the Paso Robles High School campus.
–The Voice of Paso (VOP), the local digital radio station in Paso Robles, will re-broadcast the recent forum on vaping held by the Paso Robles School District. The re-broadcast will occur at 7 p.m on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019. It will air on all VOP music channels (Country, Oldies, California Jazz).
The VOP live-streamed video/audio of the forum live on Wednesday, Oct. 30, from the Performing Arts Theater on the Paso Robles High School campus. Parents heard from a panel of local leaders and were able to ask questions about the problems of adolescent vaping.
“Vaping” is the term given to the usage of electronic or “e” cigarettes. The devices work by vaporizing liquids containing a variety of substances, often flavored. Users inhale the vapors.
“This has become a significant threat to the health our young people,” said VOP owner Steve Martin. “When the school district asked that we live stream this forum we were more than happy to assist.”
The forum is available for viewing and listening now at the VOP website, www.VoiceOfPaso.com. The site also contains information about how to download apps so listeners can carry the stations with them wherever they go.
