‘Wake up Paso’ chamber breakfast happening Wednesday 

Tickets available for both members and general public

– The Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Wake Up Paso, a business networking breakfast, on Wednesday morning, Feb. 23 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Park Cinemas in Paso Robles.

Attendees will hear from the following guest speakers:

Chief Damian Nord – Paso Robles Police Department

Hear from newly appointed Paso Robles Police Chief Damian Nord as he outlines important initiatives and programs relative to the North County community.

Stephanie Kemp – California Retirement Mandate: Options for Your Business

Learn what options are available and what would be the best choice for your business. Kemp is a retirement plan specialist with over 10 years in the Qualified Retirement Plan field.

San Luis Obispo County District Attorney’s Office – Protecting Your Organization from Workers’ Comp Fraud

Workers’ Compensation fraud costs the citizens of California billions of dollars each year. The San Luis Obispo County Office of the District Attorney is actively investigating leads and prosecuting cases where possible. Senior District Attorney Investigator Fred Pflum, and Administrative Services Officer Nanci Lovelace, will explain the types of fraud and how to report suspected fraud.

Non-Profit Spotlight – Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast

Every kid deserves a place; a place to feel safe, a place to feel connected, a place to belong. Boys & Girls Clubs of Mid Central Coast provides such places – where kids can go after school and during the summer to grow beyond the classroom.
