Wildflower Bicycle Ride happening in Creston, Shandon this weekend
–The Wildflower Bicycle Ride through Creston and Shandon will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 7 am until 5 p.m.
This non-competitive ride will include 1,000 participants and 12 support vehicles on the state highway system in the following locations:
- State Route 41 from the Separation with State Route 229 in Creston to Shandon High School.
- State Route 58 from Huer-La Panza to just south of Shell Creek Road and from Pozo Road to O’Donovan Road.
- State Route 229 from the Junction of State Route 58 to the Junction of State Route 229/State Route 41.
Flaggers will be stationed at two left turn locations on State Route 41 and 229. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be present to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Everyone is encouraged to “Share the Road.”
