Wildflower Bicycle Ride rolls through north county
The Wildflower Bicycle Ride will move through the Creston and Shandon areas on Saturday, April 8 from 7 am until 5 pm.
Approximately 1,400 participants will use portions of the state highway system in the following locations:
• State Route 41 from the Separation with State Route 229 in Creston to just south of West Center Street in Shandon.
• State Route 58 from Huer-La Panza to just south of Shell Creek Road and from Pozo Road to O’Donovan Road.
• State Route 229 from the Junction of State Route 58 to the Junction of State Route 229/State Route 41.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) will be present to maintain a safe environment for everyone. Caltrans reminds motorists to move over and slow down when driving through highway construction zones.
