Wildflower Triathlon announces partnership with Firestone Walker

– Motiv Sports, a leader in active lifestyle and entertainment, announced a new partnership with Firestone Walker Brewing Company to provide their craft beers at the 35th annual Wildflower Experience on May 4-6, 2018. Wildflower is one of the most recognized and prestigious events in triathlon and best known for its legendary three-day festival at Lake San Antonio on the Central Coast of California.
The collaboration with Firestone Walker Brewing Company will bring thousands of triathletes, fans, and campers the opportunity to toast their accomplishments with one of the most iconic craft breweries in California. Firestone Walker beers will be available in the 15C Booth at the Wildflower Experience festival and the finish line of the inaugural Wildflower 5K for adults 21 and over..
“Wildflower’s unique atmosphere of an active lifestyle, strong community, and celebration is a perfect pairing with our favorite neighborhood brewery, Firestone Walker Brewing Company,” said Race Director, Colleen Bousman. “Many athletes can attest to the deliciousness of a cold brew after a long workout and we are thrilled to offer that combination at the festival.”
Wildflower 5K runners, over the age of 21, will receive a complimentary celebration beer. As athletes swap race stories and memories they can sip Firestone Walker’s latest local flavors while relaxing, listening to live music, and taking in the scenic beauty of Lake San Antonio.

What began as a small-scale bluegrass festival and triathlon, The Wildflower Triathlons have since grown into an annual event known as the Woodstock of Triathlon, attracting thousands of participants and spectators to the three-day experience. Over the years, the atmosphere has sparked a passionate and dedicated following amongst triathlon enthusiasts; many who flock to California’s Central Coast for a chance to soak in this unique race setting. The event is not only a triathlon but a not-to-be-missed festival weekend on the beautiful Central Coast.
