Win a VW bus cooler through Main Street fundraiser
–This March, the Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association is hosting a fundraising drawing for a VW bus cooler packed with local beer and wine.
For most of the year, Paso’s picture-perfect weather beckons us outdoors to picnic at parks, countryside wineries, the beach, or your own backyard. While the way we gather for fun or ceremony has needed to change, many things must go on and remain the same; enjoying each other’s company and having good fun. Once you choose the setting, set the table, and arrange the chairs to welcome your guests, imagine their delight as a reproduction of a vintage VW Bus turned into a cooler on wheels rolls out to the party!
Back in the 60s and 70s, the Volkswagen bus took on several nicknames, likely best known as the hippie van or minibus. The fundraising drawing is thanks to the donations from our Main Street Ambassador Karyl Lammers for the cooler and Main Street member Savage Spirits & Deli for the beer and wine!
Don’t miss a chance to win this entertaining addition to your party or picnic. Purchase $10 tickets at the Main Street office on Norma’s Alley (between 12th and 13th Streets, via Pine Street) with cash, check, or PayPal. May your lucky shamrock be with you and purchase your winning ticket by Tuesday, March 16. The drawing for the vintage-style VW bus cooler will be held on St. Patrick’s Day, Wednesday, March 17.
