Wine alliance launches ‘Go Local Wine Deals’

PRWCAJanuary is a time when we revel in the quiet comfort of the Central Coast and take advantage of the eased traffic to our favorite local attractions. Most distinctly, our local wineries, which is why the Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance created an appreciation program for locals called – Go Local Wine Deals. Residents of San Luis Obispo County can take advantage of special discounts at more than 45 participating wineries throughout the month of January.

Ranging from deep discounts on case purchases to waived tasting fees and other unique deals, wineries are welcoming SLO County residents to come take advantage of this quiet time of year. Details for Go Local Wine Deals can be found on and are searchable by favorite winery or type of offer.

  • Participating wineries can opt to offer:
  • 2 for 1 Tasting
  • Case Discounts
  • Complimentary Tour
  • Discount on Purchase
  • Discounted Educational Seminars
  • Food Discount
  • Food Pairing
  • Free Wine Glass
  • Pre-release/New Release/ Barrel Samples
  • Tasting Fee Waived

Go Local Wine Deals coincides with San Luis Obispo County Restaurant Month, complementing the restaurant offerings for locals. Also joining in the local appreciation is the San Luis Obispo Wine Country Association with an array of discounts at a variety of south county wineries. These local outreach programs are geared to build goodwill with San Luis Obispo County residents, as well as drive incremental traffic to tasting rooms during the slow season.

These discounts and deals are listed on and promoted through radio, a dedicated eblast, iPhone app and social media. It is also cross-marketed on the San Luis Obispo County Restaurant Month website.
