    – Paix Sur Terre Winery was pleased to be a Monarch Wine sponsor at the recent Holly Shorts Film Festival held in Hollywood, California.

Monarch (a digital publication) is a lifestyle brand for the arts run by HollyShorts alumni Christina Rodehau, and is an annual event partner of the festival, focusing on elevating the festivities with premium brands.

HollyShorts is an Oscar-Qualifying short film festival based in Los Angeles. Since its establishment in 2005, it has become a premier platform for independent filmmakers worldwide to highlight their films. This year, 400 short films were selected from over 6,000 entries.

The 20th-anniversary film festival began on August 8th at the TCL Chinese Theatre, culminating in an awards ceremony at the world-famous Egyptian Theatre on Aug. 18.

Throughout the ten days of the festivities, Paix Sur Terre wines were served at various functions, including the VIP “Night Before” Reception on the rooftop of The Aster and a Filmmaker Mixer in the Hollywood Hills.

Paix Sur Terre (Ryan Pease winemaker/proprietor) is one of Paso Robles’ boutique wineries, specializing in Mediterranean-style white wines and Mourvèdre. Ryan’s long-time friend, artist Jon Blythe, created Paix Sur Terre’s labels, which change from vintage to vintage. PST’s artisanal wines, complimented with original art labels, were a perfect fit for this art-focused gathering.

Ryan was pleased to have his wines selected to be poured during the festival events, commenting: “We were honored to have our wines featured at these exclusive events; combining art and wine has been our longtime passion. We appreciate Monarch’s vision of a lifestyle focusing on wine, food, and art, and were happy to support Christina Rodehau’s (Monarch’s founder) passions.”

Christina also remarked: “Paix Sur Terre’s beautiful wines complimented this 20th-anniversary celebration perfectly. These wines embody the excellence and creativity defining this event. Each bottle is a piece of art expressing the spirit of the Holly Shorts Festival.”
