Wine industry foundation awards $30,000 in scholarships 

Scholarship funding came from proceeds of virtual auction

Recipients will receive their awards during high school scholarship ceremonies this week. Individual scholarship awards ranged from $1,000 to $4,000.

The 2025 virtual auction featured 35 packages that included wine, overnight stays, and experiences. According to the foundation, bidders from across the United States participated in the event. Featured auction items included Paso Robles getaway packages, dinners hosted by winemakers, and library wine collections.

The Paso Robles Wine Country Virtual Auction is scheduled to return Sept. 14-23. Proceeds from the event will support scholarships and local nonprofit organizations.
