Woman arrested for DUI in Paso Robles
Lyndsey Garcia arrested after colliding with bridge railings
–Lyndsey Garcia, a 33-year-old Oakland woman, was arrested for DUI in Paso Robles Saturday after colliding with concrete bridge railings on either side of Highway 101, according to California Highway Patrol.
Garcia was driving a Subaru southbound on Highway 101, north of Highway 46, at 75 mph, under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, according to CHP. Due to her level of intoxication, she turned her vehicle to the left causing the left side to collide into a raised concrete bridge railing. She then turned the vehicle to the right, crossing both lanes of traffic until she collided into a raised concrete bridge railing on the right-hand side of the road, before coming to a stop partially blocking a southbound lane.
Following the collision, Garcia walked off the freeway to an empty parking lot adjacent to the collision scene. She was arrested for DUI at the conclusion of the collision investigation, and the subsequent DUI investigation.
