Update: $7,500 offered for information leading to location of missing woman

–The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation into the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum. Nancy Woodrum was reported missing from the 5800 block of El Pharo Drive in Paso Robles on May 5th, 2018.

Crime Stoppers of San Luis Obispo County announced today that a reward offered in this case has been increased. Crime Stoppers is now offering up to $7,500.00 for information leading to the location of Nancy Woodrum. –The Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum of rural Paso Robles. Detectives are currently seeking information on an item that may be associated with Nancy Woodrum’s disappearance.

A brown leather slip-on loafer type shoe, with a decorative tassel on the top, was located in the 4000 block of La Panza Road on May 5, 2018. Detectives were able to contact the owner of the shoe found on La Panza Road the day Nancy Woodrum was reported missing. No further information about the shoe or it’s signifigance is available at this time. Updates will be posted as recieved.

Due to the media and public’s help, the potential witness in the Nancy Woodrum missing person case we requested information on yesterday has been in contact with Sheriff’s Office Detectives.

Sheriff’s Office Detectives are continuing their investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Woodrum. The public should contact the Detective Division at (805) 781-4500, with any information which may lead to finding Nancy. The Sheriff’s Office continues to actively investigate the disappearance of 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum of rural Paso Robles. Sheriff’s Detectives are currently seeking information regarding a potential witness, who is described as a white adult male in his middle to late 50’s. The potential witness was seen on Sunday, 5-6-18 in the El Pharo Drive area, and he was riding an orange and chrome Harley-Davidson Sportster. Sheriff’s Detectives say this individual is not a suspect. If anyone has information regarding the identity of the potential witness, or any information which may lead to finding Nancy, please contact the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at (805) 781-4500, all tips are appreciated. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000.00 for information leading to the location of Nancy Woodrum.

Sheriff’s Detectives are asking those residents who live in the areas of Geneseo Road and La Panza Road who may have video footage from anytime last Friday night (May 4) through Saturday morning (May 5) to contact the Sheriff’s Office. Possible sources of the video footage may be a home surveillance system or game cameras. If you are a resident of those areas and you have video footage please contact the Sheriff’s Office Detective Division at 805-781-4500.

–The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its search for 62-year-old Nancy Woodrum of rural Paso Robles. Woodrum was reported missing on May 5 by family members after they checked her residence and could not locate her. She was last seen by neighbors on the afternoon of May 4.

The Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Team was brought in Sunday morning at 8 a.m. Ground crews along with K9’s are searching in nearby locations. A CHP helicopter assisted in yesterday’s search as well as today’s search operations.

Woodrum is described as a White female adult, 5′ 08″ tall, 145 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. If you have any information on her whereabouts you are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 805-781-4550.
