Writers’ workshop happening Aug. 10 at Centennial Park

The class will be held at Centennial Park in Paso Robles.

–Brian Schwartz will teach participants how to make the leap from writer to published author at the “Self-Publishing For Success” workshop help Aug. 10 at Centennial Park in Paso Robles.

Schwartz is the founder of SelfPublish.org and former president of the Colorado Independent Publishers Association. He has worked with over 500 authors since 2009 including over 50 Amazon best sellers.

“My mission is to help bridge the gap between self-publishers and traditional publishing by revealing the proven strategies and techniques of successful independent publishers,” said Schwartz.

Topics to be covered during the workshop include cover design, formatting, marketplace setup and marketing advice from bestselling authors. Participants will learn about how to avoid some of the common mistakes first-time authors often make and how to implement a plan to get published right away.
