Youth baseball team from Paso Robles winning games across the region 

Youth baseball team from Paso Robles winning games across the state

–An 8u traveling baseball team from Paso Robles named the Drillers are making a name for themselves throughout the state. An 8u team is an instructional league to teach children ages eight and under (minimum age 6) the fundamentals of baseball.

This weekend they traveled to Bakersfield and dominated. Winning all three games, they completed their victory by a 17-0 win in the championship game.

The Drillers outscored their opponents 43-5 during the three games. The Drillers are 13-2 on the season and are considered to be one of the most competitive teams in the state. The team has been dominating with pitching led by Landon Berry, Mays Sorrentino, and Jay Flores, all three of which throw at over 50 mph. The team will be scrimmaging this weekend in Paso Robles at Sherwood Park.
