Youth commission seeking volunteers 

Members of the Paso Robles Youth Commission proudly displayed their banner in the city’s 125th Anniversary parade.

–The Paso Robles Youth Commission is seeking volunteers. Applications are available at Centennial Park, 600 Nickerson Dr, or www.prcity.com/government/advisorybodies/pdf/Youth-Application.pdf and must be received at Centennial Park by Sept. 1, 2017. no later than 5 pm.

Applicants must be residents of Paso Robles and in grades 9-12. For more info, call Lynda Plescia, Recreation Services Manager at (805) 237-3987.

Involvement:
Learn about, suggest, and review policies, programs, and services related to youth issues. Assist with community special events, including the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, Holiday Toy Bank, Taco Bell Track Meet, and Centennial Park Adopt-a-Park Program.

Where & when:
The Youth Commission meets after school on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year at Centennial Park. City Staff and City Council representatives are always present. Members can expect to dedicate approximately two hours monthly to Commission work.
