Youth plan performance of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

A-Christmas-CarolPaso Robles Youth Arts Foundation is getting ready to present “A Christmas Carol”, based on the classic novel by Charles Dickens adapted and directed by Tabatha Skanes. The show will be ready just in time for the holidays. Performances are scheduled for Dec. 18-20, Thurs, Fri, Sat, at 7 p.m., with a 2 p.m. matinee on Sat., at the Paso Robles Youth Arts Foundation, 3201 Spring St, Paso Robles, CA.

“Welcome to the dark, dismal allies and cold, bright, Christmas streets of London from Dickens’ imagination; in a story of lost hopes, frightful futures, and a promise of Christmas: a story of one mans self renewal,” says Skanes in a press release. “The classic novel brought to life with modern breath. Follow Ebenezer Scrooge through his life-changing nightmare; filled with music, carols, song, and dance from the “past” and the “present”. This haunting, yet uplifting, adaption will have you walking into your “future” with the spirit of Christmas!”

Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for seniors, students, and military; and $5 for children under 12. Tickets may be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/895530 or by calling (805) 238-5825.
