Valentine Movie Night returns Feb. 18

– Experience the timeless allure of the 1941 classic film, “Ziegfeld Girl,” featuring stellar performances by Judy Garland, James Stewart, Hedy Lamarr, and Lana Turner. The special Valentine Movie Night will take place on Sunday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. at Park Cinemas in Downtown Paso Robles. The annual event is presented by the Paso Robles Downtown Main Street Association.
Popcorn, chocolate, and soda are included with ticket price. The event kicks off at 7 p.m., with assigned seating available upon ticket purchase from Park Cinemas or at the box office located at 1100 Pine Street, Paso Robles.
Transported back to the 1920s, the film follows three ambitious New York girls striving for success in the iconic Ziegfeld Follies. Susan (Judy Garland), a vaudeville performer, dreams of making it big. Sheila (Lana Turner), an elevator girl, secures an audition with Flo Ziegfeld himself. Meanwhile, Sandra (Hedy Lamarr) captures the attention of a dance director during her husband’s orchestra audition. However, their career aspirations soon complicate their romantic relationships.
