Looking Back: Cliff Fast Chosen Student Body President for ‘37

Joining the national political heat wave, the Paso Robles high school last week held it’s primary election to select student body officers for the ensuing year. All but three of the nine officers received a majority of all the votes cast, thus eliminating the necessity of a final election.
The highest honor the student body has to offer was bestowed on Cliff Fast, when he was elected president for 1937 by a wide majority. Cliff was president of the Sophomore class last year, at which time he led his mates to numerous inter-class victories and definitely established the second yearers as second only i the number of years’ attendance.
The executve board next year will be as follows:
Commissioner of Entertainment, Louise Cuendet; Commission of Girls Welfare, Gladys Kleck, Commissioner of Citizenship, Bob Smith; Commissioner of Records, Ida May Peterson; Commissioner of Publicity, Ned Root.
Three offices yet to be filled are: Commissioners of Forensic, Finance and Boys Welfare.
