Adelaida Local Market at Halter Ranch hosts Holiday Sip & Shop Dec. 8

Market-at-Halter-Ranch

Local purveyors, producers, and craftsmen will gather once again at the Halter Ranch to create a festive sip and shop experience on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to come for a splash of wine, authentic local holiday shopping, and get a taste of products from local farms. The historic barn at Halter Ranch will be filled with local food and artisanal purveyors, then tip your hats to our locally grown and made!

This is an opportunity to meet SLO Co Farm Trail growers and producers collaborating with Halter Ranch’s Chef Paul who will be preparing a special grass-fed beef Trail Burger featuring Templeton Hills Beef, Stepladder Creamery, Talley Farms Fresh Harvest, Bren’s Original Seasoning, Hartley Farms, The Groves on 41 and Kiler Ridge olive oils.

As you wander through the local fare and wares of merchants such as Giving Tree Family Farm, Life Elements, Calistrong Candles, Julia’s Juices, YES Cocktail Co. and more, you will soon be in the holiday spirit.

Halter Ranch has a rich history combined with a commitment to quality, science-driven sustainable methods, and environmental stewardship. Hansjörg Wyss purchased the original property in 2000, renovated the 19th-century Victorian farmhouse and enlarged the vineyard. The estate spans over 2000-acres, with 281-acres of SIP (Sustainability in Practice) Certified wine grapes, 15-acres of walnuts, and 10-acres of olives.  The winery offers daily tours.
