Justin Fareed recognized as ‘contender’

–The National Republican Congressional Committee announced that 24th District Congressional Candidate Justin Fareed has been named a “Contender” in the NRCC’s “Young Guns” program.
The “Young Guns” program was founded in 2014 by Congressmen Paul Ryan, Kevin McCarthy and Eric Cantor to help provide qualified GOP congressional candidates with the tools and resources they need to mount competitive campaigns against democratic opponents.
“Voters in California’s 24th Congressional District are ready for next generation leadership and 21st century policies to get Congress working again for the American people,” said Fareed. “Over the the course of this race, our campaign has met with voters across the Central Coast where we’ve garnered strong grassroots support that represents the diverse voices of this district. It is from the grassroots level that we have been able to secure our funding, get out our message and build the momentum necessary to win in June, and then in November.”
Also running for the seat: Democrat Santa Barbara Mayor Helene Schneider, Republican Matt Kokkonen, Republican Katcho Achadjian, Democrat Salud Carbajal, and Democrat William Ostrander, Independent John Uebersax, Independent Steve Isakson, and Democrat Benjamin Lucas.
Justin Fareed has my VOTE!!! I watched the debate on KEYT Saturday evening. Justin Fareed was the most intelligent candidate and offered SOLUTIONS vs all the political rhetoric that numbs the brains of potential voters. I look for a candidate that is well spoken, honest and provides solutions to tackle the problems created over the last 20 years. I think Justin will represent us in Congress and look forward to seeing some positive changes for our little slice of heaven here on the Central Coast. VOTE 4 JUSTIN!

The mere fact that the Republican party has endorsed Justin is evidence that he will be working for them, not us. The only way citizens themselves can be represented is to elect independents.
And we will not be living in a "little slice of heaven" much longer if our government doesn't stop making 100 new terrorists a day fighting wars for oil and profit.
