Short-Term Vacation Rental Task Force appointments announced

Paso-Robles-City-Logo–In March, the Paso Robles City Council requested the creation of a citizens’ task force to examine the issue of short-term rentals, also referred to as “vacation rentals.”

The following people have been appointed:

      • Kathy Bonelli
      • Bill Haas
      • Stacie Jacob
      • Dan Jones
      • Meridith Maas
      • Mark McConnell
      • Jill Ogorsolka

Short-term rentals are homes and second units that are rented out for less than 30 days at a time. It is estimated that there are more than 300 now in operation in Paso Robles, many without having obtained the necessary business license, according to the city.

The applicants were selected with consideration of creating a task force that represents the many perspectives on this issue, according to the city.

The first task force meeting will be held on Wednesday May 4 at 10 a.m. in the Paso Robles City Council Chambers. All meetings will be open to the public; agendas and other materials will be posted on the city’s website; and the public will have the opportunity to share their thoughts and suggestions.
