If re-elected, Gregory will continue to be a passionate booster for the city he’s called home for more than 37 years. Steve was born in Argentina and immigrated to the United States as a child with his family.Gregory says he loves Paso Robles for “our can-do attitude, healthy environment and friendly people. The lifestyle here is among the best I’ve seen, we have an amazing and wonderful place to live”.

Among Gregory’s uppermost priorities are continuing to fix Paso Robles’ roads. With a million dollars more a year in the budget for the next two years, he looks forward to smoother rides for all.

He is committed to the growth of the Paso Robles Municipal Airport, a 1,400-acre site that currently boasts a new restaurant “One Niner Diner”, several Companies that provide hundreds of head of household jobs, the best all weather airport in San Luis Obispo County, the Estrella Warbird Museum which is becoming the most visited tourist attraction in our city and best of all there is space and capacity to provide for more companies and opportunities for our city.

Including renewing and improving the futures plans for infrastructure, providing a better design standards in our Airport setting and to have our stakeholders help our City Council move forward with the future of our Airport.

Councilman Gregory says that making Paso Robles a super business-friendly city has been his central motivation on the council. He sees Paso Robles as a place “for new start-ups and revolutionary ideas, a place where our millennials can succeed.”

Two other areas of focus for the councilman are the continued support of Paso Robles’ Police and Fire departments. He hopes the city will be able to hire additional Firefighters and work on a comprehensive plan for the future of the Fire Department. He’d like to see the City Council support the Police Department in their effort to address the city’s gang and drug problems. Steve wants to continue looking for additional facilities for youth sports and improving our recreational opportunities.

So what does a busy councilman and local business owner do in his spare time? “I love to travel,” he says. “And I love photography and spending time with my family.”
