Is That a Pinot in Your Pocket?
Wine Alliance releases new video on pinot noir
The Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance announced June is the month to celebrate pinot noir. It’s as part of the alliance’s 2013 Varietal of the Month series. Each month the alliance is offering fun and educational varietal features.
The narration begins, “Pinot noir from Paso Robles. Do you think that’s funny?” The Paso Wine Man asks. “In the desert there’s an oasis… Microclimates. Within the Paso region there are pockets where pinot finds just the right conditions to develop both complex burgundian classics and new world starters… In Paso, try the pinot. No joke”.
The video stars The Paso Wine Man, actor Casey Biggs, and was shot at Croad Vineyards off Highway 46 West in Paso Robles.
Monthly varietals will be explored each week through Paso Wine Man Videos, Grower Blogs, Winemaker Interviews, and Recipes from local restaurants. Learn about the unique characteristics that go into making your favorite bottle of Paso Robles wine, and explore wines that may be a bit unfamiliar through the 2013 Varietal of the Month series.
